Hi,
I've tried using iMovie5 HD to capture a movie off my VCR using my
Miglia Director's Cut
analogue to digital converter as I have done several times with iMovie3
& 4 but it only gets
a few minutes into the movie when it stops recording and puts up the
message 'No Device Control'
which I never saw come up in the other versions. The most iMovie5 has
managed was about 15 minutes
sometimes only around 2 minutes.
I've tried it several times and keep getting different amounts recorded
but the same message.
'No Device Control' doesn't make sense because iMovie isn't meant to
control the
Miglia anyway.
I've tried different Preference settings (turned off 'Start a new clip
at each scene brake' etc.) but nothing
has made it better.
Any ideas as to what's causing iMovie5 to stop recording and the 'No
Device Control' message?
Would there be any problems if I reinstalled iMovie4?
