The Brother MFC is very nice as long as you don't already have a Brother Laser printer. If you do, your Brother laser will stop working as soon as you install the MFC. I still haven't been able to get the Brother HL-1220 laser on my Dad's home network working with his new MFC-620CN and I understand one other owner of a Brother MFC-620CN and a Brother HL-1240 has found the laser stopped working after installing the MFC. Brother Support has been no help. Interestingly, if you restart the Mac with a job sitting in the print queue to the laser, it will print as soon as the desktop appears, but then some utility belonging to the MFC takes over and stalls any further jobs until you next restart. Infuriating. -Mart
