What tools do you have at your disposal DVDSP? If so will import direct.
I use a program called DropDv for demuxing mpeg 1 or 2 to DV which I
do believe iDvD will handle if part 1 is not an option.

Go back to source and output relevant file format not sure what can
be imported into iDVD, as I do not use it.
