Thanks for the replies.I did contact TPG who stated there was a glitch in their email during the early hours of this morning. Everything is working now and a late email, postmarked early this morning, was delivered quite late.
Maybe it was just a lull in my stats but I can't help thinking there may be some posts that have ended up in virtual never-never land.
