Not really (although I've not been paying attention to it). However, I just tried editing a 79MB CMYK image and I found that CS2 used *less* scratch space than CS1. PS. Don't forget to cull the 'History' occasionally if you are making lots of changes -- the History will consume a lot of space. Sounds like you'll need to try to get a larger or additional hard drive during the next 12 months.
