Publisher docs to Mac

Hi WAMUGgers

My web searching indicates it can't be done, but is there any way  
that I can import a Micro$oft Publisher document into a Mac  
compatible program, such as AppleWorks, Pages, M$ Word, NeoOffice,  
Dreamweaver, Preview, BBedit etc and get it to open and format  
correctly. I don't have Acrobat to try opening and editing a .pdf  
format, which I believe Publisher can save as.
