Continuing a previous posting about the opening chimes. Since Tiger my iMac does not always sound the opening chimes. I thought I had fixed it by zapping the pram but the <problem> returns on just some starts.
Everything works well but should I be concerned? There is a momentary flash of the unhappy face and question mark then it starts up. Does this indicate something serious? Lloyd --
