Try Cyberduck http://cyberduck.ch reasonable speed constantly updated, offers advantages of Transit and it is free software, but donations greatly accepted. Beta testers always welcomed.

Edit files on server with your favourite Editor, Rendezvous oh shit Bonjour and sftp mode, plus more.
