I want to replace the DVD reader in a 400 Mhz slot-loading crt iMac with something that can read DVDs, but can burn CDs (and burn DVDs if it is not going to cost too much extra).
Is there anything I have to look out for? Should I consider an external burner instead? Is there anyone who has such a drive for sale?
