Yes Audacity does open Ogg, and I would save it as a WAVE with 32 bit. Then use QT pro to convert to an AIFF file. If you do not have QT pro then go straight to AIFF from Audacity lose a bit of audio quality, but iTunes will import and destroy it more depending on your import format for iTunes. Audacity does a strange job on AIFF files and it is misbehaving a little under Tiger with some users and machines I use.


There is a plug-in, LameLib (Decodes MP3 file) that you also need. From
memory, you can get plug-in from the nyquist's home page.

No need for this iTunes does a good enough job although QT pro works better.
