You won't need any drivers or firmware. Depending on the model of the drive
it will or won't support Apple Disk Burning (used by iTunes, iDVD, Finder)
natively. If it doesn't you can use a utility called "Patchburn"
http://www.patchburn.de/ to insall support for ADB.
It will almost certainly be supported by Toast straight out of the box.
