Can someone please fill me in on this one.

When I type in a "Company" name in the address field of Mail, it
recognises the name and puts a pair of empty parentheses after it.
On sending the mail it says that it is not a valid address.
If, however, I go to Address Book from the Mail toolbar, find the
relevant entry and hit the "To" button it enters the email address,
not the company name, and sends the mail happily. For ordinary names
there is not this problem, the name is recognised and sends.
