More than likely not, but just check System Preferences/Energy Saver. Under
Options there is "Wake when the modem detects a ring".
More than likely not that, but good to rule it out.

Also note that discussions on Whirlpool.net indicate that some
Panasonic phones aren't all that compatible with some of the ADSL
line filters. But check 'wake on ring' first.
