Hi all, I have a curly problem here.
I booted into OS 9 on this G3 that has an old(ish) pc monitor attached. I noticed the screen res was 800x600 so I changed it to 1024x768. Pffffft! Black screen with an orange power light, it does not revert either. When I reboot all is well til it is just about to the desktop then back to black:( I've changed the settings in classic which didnt work upon starting in OS 9. Iv'e trashed monitor and system prefs to no avail. I copied over another complete system folder which had no effect either. I've zapped the PRAM, still black. This G3 had no issues with a different monitor so I realise the issue lies with this one, but I just want to get it back to 800x600 now. I'll try to get another old monitor later I guess. BTW this monitor has displayed 1024x768 on PCs successfully. Thanks Paul
