Ray,

there are some things you need to check to ensure your computer is set up to sync a palm device. (1)You need to install the latest palm desktop - you didn't mention whether you had this installed. This was updated recently and WOULDN'T have been on the disk you got with your treo. This version is compatible with tiger. Get it from here:

(2) You need to install the isync conduit for palm devices. This will actually prompt you to install palm desktop. You no longer need to download the conduit in tiger (as you did in panther). Instructions on how to do this are here:

You also didn't mention exactly how it wasn't syncing. I assume you have added the device via isync. Is it just not responding when you press the sync button on the cable?

Also make sure you have the latest update for the Treo - I don't know of any stock in australia which has this already applied (and now there is only one distributor for palm devices). This update fixes a huge number of bugs, including a memory bug. Get it here:

Although this isn't a money free solution to your problem, I strongly recommend purchasing the Missing Sync by mark space. Works with isync and is a much better sync solution. Also allows syncing over a network or via bluetooth. More info here:

If you've got yourself into big trouble or the above is way over your head, send me an email privately - I may be able to help.
