Thanks for the help to you all
Apple/shift /3 is the quickest option by far and for some reason one
has just decided to appear on my desk top
Apple/ shift/ 4 is slower because it is manual but it is more defined
I think the problem may lay with the fact that I had a demo copy of
Snapz Pro and that was causing some problem. There has been word
that it was flaky under 10.4
I would dearly like that to work before I try to fork out the money
to buy the license.
The other thing I have found is that the VLC player mutes my
preferences. I have thrown away a few files now simply because I
thought there was no sound.
This slows my whole process down to a crawl now.
There are so many more things to look at now when it come to being a
vidiot like myself.
Are there any good books out there on ripping small bites from movies
and creating DVDs for school use? Sometimes all I want is something
like the Brave Sir Robin extract from the Holy grail to prove a point
