That sort of response is ridiculous.
As an aside, I listened to Elaine, my better 0.5 responding to a
telemarketing call last week whilst we were at our son's home in Albany.
The Indian caller couldn't get past the first question. Elaine kept
responding with "Oh my God, thank goodness someone has answered. I
need to be connected to my daughter's number and I've been trying to
get through all night! You are wonderful. Would you please connect me
to 08 9************."
Eventually the caller from the subcontinent hung up on her! Poor
attitude indeed :-)
