Hi Gordon,

I bought a 12V DC to 240V AC converter from a car shop that is rated at 300 W, for about $60 on special - smaller one would do you. The advantage of this is that it will power other household type appliances as well as the iBook eg small TVs, DVDs, toothbrush whatever. Unfortunately though cheap it's not light as you required. The size of a lunchbox and over 1Kg is my guess.

                      regards
                      Eugene

Hi all,
I'm having a look around for car chargers/adapters for a current model
iBook. After something that's (hopefully) both light and cheap. Any
suggestions/personal experiences? Where's a good place to buy from?

Gordon
