as an alternative has anyone tried Camera Houses onpix service on a mac?

there is a demo, but, obviously, you can't upload your own pics in
that but that also means you can't try the dialog box to see if it
works with Mac OS X. I know from experience that in some web forums
where they allow you to upload an avatar or signature picture you
have to use the use url option (if offered) as the standard "browse
for image on local drive" option just doesn't work on macs.
... or the book through iPhoto!
At an Apple presentation at Burswood two years ago I publicly asked
the presenter when would we in Australia be able to order the book.
He didn't want to hear that question and fobbed it off by saying
probably in about three months. Apple Australia ...?
