Further to the problems I was experiencing with my Planet USB Phone for use with Skype.
This is the reply I received from the Australian distributors who went back to Planet for advice. Hi Lloyd, I hope this clears up the shortcomings of the ph in Mac O/S. Following comments are from Planet. "Please kindly be informed that the Utility for UP-100 is used for controlling key function so that the users are able to dial out via SKYPE. If you have a UP-100 and you do not have Utility, your key function is not work at all. In this case, please be informed that the Utility does not support Mac OS so that the key function does not work properly in Mac system but it work well in Windows system. " "Please be informed that UP-100 hardware supports MAC OS but it's Utility does not support MAC OS so that you are able to use UP-100 to talk via SKYPE but the key function is working not proper under MAC OS system."
