When viewing the streaming Quicktime movies from within the iLectures web pages, hold down the "Shift" key on the keyboard and then click and drag the volume slider at the bottom left corner of the video window which will now magically allow you to boost the volume to 200%.
For downloaded quicktime movies, if you have Quicktime Pro, you can go to Movie properties, select the sound track and also boost the volume to 200% (QT 7 displays it as +6 db) and then save the movie. -Mart Ps. Is anyone else having trouble getting the WAMUG podcasts working? iTunes on my Mac is giving a "network connection refused" error message at the moment when I try to download any of the WAMUG podcasts. *sigh* back to troubleshooting. > From: Robert Howells <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Wed, 10 Aug 2005 12:34:50 +0800 > To: WAMUG Mailing List <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: WAMUG meeting podcast and video up > > Thank you Martin : > > Now, does anybody know how to get more volume out of this video .... ? > > I have everything flat out and not loud enough to listen to from > Speakers . > > There might be away using Quicktime Pro , but i have not gone that far > YET ! > > TIA > > Bob > > > > On 10/08/2005, at 10:16 AM, Martin Hill wrote: > >> I've just put the iLecture recording of the recent August WAMUG main >> meeting >> up at the usual place: >> http://ilectures.curtin.edu.au/ilectures/ilectures.lasso?ut=692 >> >> Matt, any chance of getting this link added to the WAMUG meetings page: >> http://www.wamug.org.au/meetings/index.shtml >> >> If anyone has the video tape/recording from the July meeting I'd be >> happy to >> put that up as well.
