No problems here, Ryan. I can copy (move) files on my external
firewire drive either internally or to and from my main drive,
subsequent to updating.
I did notice a note (but didn't read it) about having to disconnect
any external drive before updating. Did you do this? I also repaired
permissions, before and after updating.
