Daniel,
You should compare the previous and working system info.
If you added some 3rd party applications there will most likely be some
bits and pieces
from them in various places.
If you have all the original installers then you can reinstal from them
, if not you may want to retrieve some of those pieces .
Some places to compare are :-
Library/ application/support
Library/contextual menu items
Library/documentation
Library/frameworks
and so on.
The archive & instal clears the main part of the system
but we really need something like the old OS9 Clean Instal Assistant
which collected all the non Apple bits before the new Instal
and then helped to add them back after the clean instal .
Have fun

Hi all
The other week I did an "Archive & Install" to try and sort out some
problems I was having. The problems are now sorted!
However, I am now running short of disk space on the Start-Up Drive,
and was wondering if it would be safe to delete the "Previous System
Folder".
The new install is running fine, so I was just wondering if deleting
the Previous System Folder will do anything to adversely affect the
system stability

Also appreciated would be advice on a utility to weed out multiply
copies of the same file (or older versions)
Thanks
