One option that comes with every installation of OS X is to use Disk Utility to create an encrypted disk image.
To create, launch Disk Utility, click the "new image" button, choose the size for your disk image, and select "AES-128" from the Encryption pop-up menu. The disk image mounts on your desktop and you can then drag any files into the disk image you wish to protect, then unmount the disk image. To access your files, just double-click the disk image and enter your password. Otherwise there are a number of encryption apps available at versiontracker. -Mart > From: Andrew Schox <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Wed, 07 Sep 2005 15:32:01 +0800 > To: WAMUG Mailing List <[email protected]> > Subject: Encryption Software anyone? > > Hi There, > > Does any one have any suggestions for fairly simple encryption software?
