Believe it or not the only font that OS X absolutely *requires* is Lucida Grande, and it must be located in the /System/Library/Fonts folder. OS X will not boot without Lucida Grande. Other than that you can remove all the rest. I have done this for clients using suitcase to manage fonts for DTP and not wanting duplicate open type fonts of their postscript ones. Cheers Rob
