howdy
a client has just stabbed my Apple LCD screen with a black /blue
biro, which has left a horizontal mark, about 12mm long in the
centre of the screen.-
spit and wipe make no difference.
can Meths be used on these
whats the experience on spirits that can be used?

suggest water and paper or cloth
Eucalyptus oil (from any supermarket... look around and you'll find
it in an aerosol spray can) or De-Solv-It (from Bunnings... VERY
useful stuff).
Either one should do it, without leaving permanent marks on the LCD.
Apply cleaner to a cloth and then wipe the ink stain off the screen,
ie don't spray the cleaner directly on to the screen.
