Hi Rod

As mentioned in another post the 512MB is soldiered to the board, so you
only have one other RAM slot to upgrade. You can upgrade to a total of 2.5GB
RAM by adding a 2GB Module, but they are rather pricing at the
moment,...about $1375 (or anywhere up to $1770 depending where you look) for
a 2GB module!
So at this point in time until pricing comes down your best bet is to add a
1GB module (about $169) then once prices come down in say, 6 months, then
look at upgrading it if need be and trade back the 1GB module.

Sort of more worth it in my mind,..and that's what most of my clients have
down when we've ordered them new iMac's. :o)
