howdy,
I have network ( connected via ADSL 4 port router/modem ) of :
a) G4 with Tiger ( 10.4.2)
b) rev A iMac partitioned with
i.) Panther( 10.3.9) on first 7 MB
ii) OS 8.6, 9.2.1 and data on remaining 19MB
generally the iMac is now always booted up into Panther
connecting to the network from the iMac I can access the G4 and
transfer files as required between my 2 user accounts
from the G4 I can only access the user accounts in Panther, I cannot
access the data on the other half of the partition ( called OS 8.6
classic) ie this does not show up.
I've tried putting alias of teh OS 8.6 HD in my user account but make
no difference.
any thoughts on what I can do to access this partitioned HD?
