Hi Tom,

I have found Adobe's Classroom in a Book series to be very good. They come
with a CD containing the exercise files needed and can be read from cover to
cover, or simply used to practise a particular function or using a
particular tool. The Photoshop CS2 edition doesn't cover all the tools
available, but does does give some good grounding on the most used tools.
It also makes recommendations on other books to increase your knowledge.

Ken.
