Hi All,
I just found a fix to my problem.
If you go to the preferences folder in iTunes and change the file
reference so that it links to the iTunes Music folder, it
automatically regenerates a new library.
Arhhh…… I can sleep on the bed!
Thanks guys!

Hi Everyone,
Well, I am not popular with my wife because to get more memory on
her laptop I transfered her music files (iTunes Music) to an
external harddrive. She then told me to put the music files back
on the laptop. So I did, of cause! The trouble is that the song
references in iTunes now say, "Original file cannot be found". So
I then have to hunt for it for each individual song and there's
hundreds!!
Is there a way of getting the computer to globaly find all of the
files. I mean, they are still all back on the laptop as they were.
Or do I have to do each one individually. :(
Thanks in advance,
Chris G
If *all* the files are in the same spot (and I mean all), then
delete the songs out of the iTunes library and drag all the music
back in. If in doubt, back up your iTunes folder with the
playlists first.
