Congratulations to Jon Davison of <http://www.eyeinthesky.com.au/> and WAMUG for another great book.

"The Book 'Beneath Southern Seas, The Silent Service' is a visual portrayal of the world of the Australian submarine force element group seen through the eyes of photographer Jon Davison and writer Tom Allibone.

Commander of the Australian Navy Submarine Group, Commodore Ric Shalders, launched the book last week at HMAS Stirling, Garden Island.

The open access granted to the authors by the Royal Australian Navy has culminated in a collection of images and interviews that give an intimate look at the unique world of submariners.

The book is based on 40 thought-provoking and illuminating interviews with people who make up the unusual occupation. Through their words, the readers discover what it is that makes a person become a submariner"

The Book is published by UWA Press.

I purchased Jon's book 'Beneath Southern Skies' for my Dad not long before he died. My Dad served in the RAAF during World War Two. He enjoyed this book so much.
I will be purchasing your new book Jon.

Congratulations again.

Best Wishes,

Ronni
