Hello all,
I hope you will forgive the commercial nature of this post, but I am
looking for someone who is familiar with Java development on the Mac
(most important) and on Windows environment using Sarfari and
Netscape/Firefox and IE browsers (with Explorer being more important
for the Windows environment given the likelihood that Explorer will
disappear from the Mac scene in the not too distant future.) The
person must be able to communicate with our clients and existing
development team, and be able to work independently. This may be up to
a three month contract, and we can pay $50 per hour. The person will
have to hand over the application to client staff, therefore must be
able to document the design. The ideal candidate will be someone with
web enabled applications development experience, but a strong Mac /
cross platform bent. This is to compliment part of a significant
development contract that we have, currently being developed in .Net
with SQL back end.
This specific application is to replace an Excel based application that
only runs on Windows, hence the Java approach to deliver a single
application that will run on both platforms. Web delivery of the
application is a mandatory requirement. So, if anyone can assist, or if
