Missing Sync - too long to sync with Address Book & iCal

Has anyone else found Missing Sync 5.03 for Palm OS taking an enormous amount of time to sync, and using an enormous amount of CPU as well? 
Specs:
 Tiger - 10.4.3,
867 Mhz PowerPc G4,  1.12gb Sdram
