check, but typically "yes", a dual-processor machine would have up to
200% utilisation in many recking tools.

if you open Activity Monitor (in the Utilities folder) and then click
on CPU activity you get your "real" cpu by cpu usage percents.
there's a little utility program from unsanity called Cee Pee You
that put's your dual processor CPU's percents up in the menu bar
mmm that would be interesting to see on a quad processor unit ...
anybody want to "lend" me one for testing?
