Hi Warren,

I have just gone to broadband (ADSL) after many months of chasing the
elusive good deal. Finally I came to the conclusion that all the deals out
there are almost the same and that it came down to personal preferences.

If you need feedback on specific ISPs, I would say that my experience with
Westnet was just fantastic. From the first contact, to the final set-up went
without a glitch. I had bought a NetComm wireless/router from Daniel, with
my G5 connected to the modem via ethernet and my daughter's iBook via
wireless. The technician from Westnet talked me through the set up of both
computers and of the modem, and got me to exchange mail to and from him to
ensure all was working.

Don't know if you are going the wireless way, but the beauty of this method
is that provided the modem is turned on, there is no need to have the G5
connected to access the internet from the iBook.

This simple system works a treat for our modest requirements.

Not sure if this is of any help, but I am sure that you will enjoy broadband
once you are up and running.

Best of luck.
