John,
More info :
Go to your OSX preferences , Classic The Start/Stop pane has a box
mid screen ..... Show Classic status in Menu bar
Put Yes tick in that .
Should give you a 9 to the right on your top bar.
With Classic running
Click on that 9 , drag to " Apple Menu items " .... hold and wait
for the menu to appear .
Drag to the Chooser ( OS9 )
You must be able to setup your printer in that pane for it to work in
Classic.
Consider it this way :
There are 2 operating systems , and the Printer has to be setup in both
IF you are going to Print from both .
In this case the alternative is to get a copy of MS Word X

Hi All
Sorry Forgot the subject.
I have an IMac running OS 9.2.2. I know very little about OS X but
will have to learn.
A friend of mine has an iMac successfully running OS X with
AppleWorks 6 and an Epson C63 printer..
A couple of days ago, we, as far as I know, successfully installed MS
Office 97/98 in his machine but my friend can not print any thing he
produces with it, because while his printer shows in the Chooser for
AW6 it has disappeared from the Chooser for MS Office.
Have thought of re-installing the printer driver but I doubt this is
necessary.
The solution is I am sure a very simple one but it eludes me.
Thank you for any advice.
Regards
