This is too weird...but maybe someone in the group can assist. I have a G5
Mac with OSX and use Entourage for email, Word for normal documents. Whenever
I type a contraction such as Don't or Can't or Shouldn't and so on, the spell
checker automatically adds an O, which then of course makes an incorrect
spelling which has to be corrected. So my document is peppered with CAN¹TO or
SHOLDN¹TO and so on. Is driving me crazy and I can't seem to see any way to
stop this happening. Help! I¹m drowning in oooooos!!
Maybe removing or trashing Word's preferences and or the normal.dot
template will get rid of your ghouly.
Is there still the extra character when you open the documents with TexEdit?
