Thank you to all who responded to my request for assistance.

I thought it appropriate to share my experience with all.

These remarks refer to the Hamersley 6022 area but may be relevant to others.

1. The supplied antenna is inadequate even if held on high.

2. The rabbit ears with built in tuner is a slight improvement - but alas, inadequate.

Incidentally, both 1 and 2 fine tune into 5 SBS channels including 2 radio frequencies. That's all.

3. The answer is to plug into my lounge room coaxial TV cable. Received approx 40 channels of every description. Am now arranging a lead to the office.

In response to a suggestion that once tuned to the required channels via coaxial, the small antenna may then work - not the case at this location.

In general the software used to record a TV program is brilliant in its simplicity.

For those interested I have the last of the Mac Mini without dual core and watch TV on a 24" Dell monitor.

Thank you all once again
