Using OS 9.2 on an iMac, I used the 'Comment' box in a heap of digital
image files to store a description of each image. By including a
Comment column in Finder views for the folders containing these images,
I could show lists of these JPEGs with a description for each.
Now I've switched to 10.2, I find that the Comment boxes for each of
these files appear to be empty. Can anyone comment on this, or show a
way to recover them? The files themselves haven't been altered between
9.2 and 10.2, so presumably the information is there somewhere. I guess
I could restart my computer on 9.2 itself (rather than Classic) and the
comment information should be there, but that would only let me access
one comment at a time. TIA.
