Lately, every time I open Mail I also open iCal. As I don't use iCal,
this double-opening is a nuisance. I don't have any sync options
ticked in the preferences of either program.
Can anyone recommend an easy way to break this nexus?
I have also notice that Mail Preferences often refuse to close;
requiring a forced quit of Mail. This may be unrelated to the matter
above, but it's also a nuisance.
I have repaired permissions many times without effect on these
issues; also recently reinstalled OS 10.4.6. I'm reluctant to delete
iCal.
