any suggestions ?
Is it a new modem if so which one
I'm guessing this is ADSL .
There's always the possibility you could get lucky .
The spike " might " have only upset the modem internal software .
Access the modem Manual & information and
learn how to reset all it's software to default values .
Do that and then set it up fresh as though it is a new modem.
Also , you could check it's power supply .
Replacing the existing with a known good unit might be quickest .
Then test it's operation with 3 ports unconnected , just in case you
also have a house
ethernet problem .
Good luck
