Hi,

Can anyone recommend an affordable or shareware/freeware PDF editor
or converter that they have used on OSX 10.4? Adobe Acrobat 7.0 is
much more than I need - both in features and price.

I develop localised versions of health promotion programmes, and have
one on disc in PDF with written authorisation to modify for regional
use.

I can extract the text (copy out of Preview or Adobe Reader, paste
into MS Word), but would much prefer to capture and retain images,
clip art, layout, of the original PDF.

Requirements are:

1) PDF editor:
Rearrange pages in a PDF document
Add pages to a PDF document that come from another document
Remove pages from a PDF document
Extract a selection of pages from a PDF document and export them as a
new document
Split a PDF document in chunks for easier handling
Merge content from two or more PDF documents
Insert blank pages into a PDF document
Rotate pages in a PDF document

OR

2) PDF converter:

Convert PDF to Word .doc of .rtf (I have MS Office 2004 for Mac)
Retain page layout and formatting
Allows editing of word document (ie, does not save as image, but as
true Word document)

Any advice will be appreciated.

Cheers
