Try disabling starup items in System Prefs/Users. Also look in
Universal Access for a Q setting I lost my '!' for a while and found
some obscure app/system item had reserved the ! as a secret command key.
Anyway my online friends sent me a few !!!!!!!! as a backup. I simply
copied and posted them from their emails - so heres a Queue of Qs:
(Oops I hit appleCmd-Q then instead of Shift-Q just then! Haha)
