Hi Greg, OS9 doesn't include a PPPoE client and there don't appear to be any free ones so you'll have to buy one (like Enternet or MacPoET) or buy a router or buy a new modem/router (which has a PPPoE client built in) and sell the old modem. To be honest each will probably cost about the same.

Hi there Muggers, Any advice on the following would be greatly appreciated! How do I connect to the internet using a PPPoE account on OS9? I used to use Enternet as supplied by Telstra but moved on to another ISP on a newer computer running OSX and threw the disk away. Now, I want to get the older G3 computer hooked up to the ADSL modem, but can't seem to do it using OS9's supplied software. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
