H there,
Try the forum http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/laser/26282 for
the C82 but the site http://www.fixyourownprinter.com has lots of
information and I believe service manuals. My experience with the C82
is I managed to fix one and one recommendation was to use a
particular type of ink that did not contain the durabright that the
epson cartridges contain. I have also destroyed the print heads in
one C82 using the techniques outlined so as one says the usual
disclaimers go.
There is a guy in Perth (Canning Vale) selling large ink reservoirs
for a variety of inkjet printers. Cannot remember the name of the
company but could do just about any printer.
I too have gone laser. Saumsung C555 with 3 yr warranty - has xerox
engine in it. Under A$600.

Hi everyone,
To add to Tony's comments, I have an Epson CX5300 which has been
kept in
immaculate condition but just simply does not print at all!!
Neither the
black or colour printing work, probably with the jets all clogged up.
I just wish the inkjet manufacturers would make their printers
serviceable
by the user, specially the cleaning of the jets. I did everything
that the
book says but no go.
By the way that's the 3rd and last Epson inkjet printer, of
whatever brand,
I will purchase. Since then I bought a cheap Brother laser -
functions very
well with my Mac. I now strongly recommend my relatives and friends
not to
purchase inkjets unless they buy one for well under $100- then
throw away as
soon as the ink runs out!! A waste nonetheless ....
If anyone knows of someone who could service my CX5300, cheaper than a
replacement scanner, please let me know.
Regards,
Philippe

It was cheaper to replace my old printer rather than repair it. As I
result I have four unopened ink cartridges that do not fit my new
printer:
TO 321 Black, TO 422 Cyan, TO 423 Magenta, TO 424 Yellow (all for use
with Epson Stylus C82/CX5100, CX5300)
Say $50 for the lot.
