Do you have Garageband, Livetype, Soundtrack, or DVD SP installed?
All these application have associated media that take up a lot of
space. If you use the programs, obviously you need the media, but if
you don't...
Have a look in Library> Application support. My library, with these
things installed, for eg, is 30 gig.
