Ragtime Solo like Appleworks and has desktop publishing
facilities and a spreadsheet.
tables is still in beta <http://www.x-tables.eu/>
Appleworks will not convert / handle multiple Excel worksheets !
That is a lot more than I imagined . Mariner Calc is very close to
Excel !
The makers also produce Mariner Word which I find to be
EXCELLENT .
It's simple , has some features , but does not keep telling you how
to write .
Individually Mariner Write & Mariner Worde are $50 US , but a
combined package is $80 .
