Thanks to those that replied but I haven't been able to solve the dilemma even with your good advice. Very frustrating. Anyone else have any suggestions on how I can insert a graphic or picture into a Word document, and then not only see it on screen, but manipulate its size?
I have tried saving the photo I need to use as a smaller version but it always pastes as the full size. I've tried 'paste special' but that is of limited use, unfortunately. I remember loving my old 'Draw' program within Appleworks where I could do all this stuff but the new OSX and its attending Microsoft applications don't do what I want!! Bugger!!
