Dear WAMUG'rs, Is there anyone using the LaCie d2 Dual DVD/CD who can confirm that using OS X 10.3.9 has only one writing speed - Fast.
I have been using this burner, which by the way is very quiet, and have installed all the required software and updated the firmware as per LaCie's instructions. Using the Finder's burning function I find that I can only burn at the maximum speed only. Is this something that I have to make do with? I do not see this as a great problem although I like to burn critical data at a slower speed. I can use the Mac's burner instead if I cannot find a way to have access to the different speed. I have not tried Toast Lite which came with the buner, but would still prefer to use the Finder if at all possible.
