you get this strange file naming if the mem-card is in a windows
format, & you read it in mac, plus you save something from a mac
with mp3 file onto a mem-stick i found a similar problem & it seems
the resource fork appears as independent file but with the first
letter replaced by a _ (underscore) that means that file cannot be
used & has small size aswell...
reformatting the card may solve the problem.....
also do not format on a mac, use the camera or a dark-side machine....

simultaneous RAW & JPG but changing it back has no effect.
not machine dependant as CF cards put in both WIndows and Mac
machines come up with this new name format
not a big issue but annoying none the less.
